Building on Odoo, since version nine.
↳ also known as Olga Golodaeva
Senior software engineer with 20+ years across full-stack development, system administration and database engineering. Last decade focused on Odoo — from v9 to v19, Community and Enterprise. Currently building the open-source l10n_ua HR Suite — 8 published modules on the App Store and active contribution to OCA l10n-ukraine.
Based near Lyon, looking for a permanent role with a human-scale team where collaboration is at the heart of how things get done.
Twenty years in code — most of it spent building, evolving and keeping alive the systems that quietly run companies. I studied applied mathematics in Kharkiv, then spent the next two decades in Kyiv as the responsable for IT systems, databases and networks. The title changed over time, but the work meant the same thing: be whatever the team needs that week — developer, sysadmin, DBA, sometimes all three before lunch.
In 2015 I went independent and met Odoo for the first time. Since then I have shipped on Odoo from v9 through v19 — Community and Enterprise, custom modules and core extensions, Ukrainian and French clients. Two and a half years inside a French Odoo integrator near Lyon taught me how to be a French Odoo developer in a French team — the documentation rituals, the code-review habits, the way feature requests translate between business and engineering on this side of the border. Now, independent again, I build the open-source l10n_ua HR Suite for the Odoo App Store and contribute the foundation layer to OCA l10n-ukraine.
What I am looking for next: a permanent role with a small or mid-sized team — what people in France call a famille professionnelle. Where collaboration is at the heart of how things get done, where I belong to a real team again rather than working alone over Slack, and where what I ship matters because it serves real people.
Eight production modules on the Odoo App Store — three free, five paid. Full foundation layer (employee, military registration, family), payroll calculation with PDFO and social benefits, and three live state-integration modules (employment notification to DPS, Form 4 to TCC, electronic sick-leave import from the Pension Fund portal). Built from scratch on Odoo v18 and v19, Community and Enterprise. The whole thing also has a public landing page in Ukrainian and an open roadmap on OCA.
Active contribution of the foundation layer of l10n_ua HR Suite to the Odoo Community Association's official l10n-ukraine repository. Public roadmap as a GitHub issue, modules built to OCA quality standards — pre-commit hooks, test coverage, bilingual README.

I am equally happy to talk about an interesting Odoo project.
